ISAM (International Symposium on Agricultural Meteorology) has been held in adjunct to the annual meeting of the Society of Agricultural Meteorology of Japan (SAMJ) since 2008. ISAM2013 is the sixth. |

The main topics of ISAM2013 are listed below, but presentations on other topics would also find their audiences at the meeting. ISAM2013 will provide unique opportunities to meet colleagues who are working on meteorology in agriculture, forestry and other land ecosystems mostly in, but not limited to, East Asia. We hope the participants to share up-to-date results and novel ideas, and to meet their future collaborators at ISAM2013. Let's get together in NONOICHI in March 2013! |

| The registration entitles the ISAM2013 participants to join the SAMJ annual meeting, where most presentations shall be made in Japanese but some are in English and slides are of interest. |

Participants from outside Japan: Payment by some credit cards is acceptable only for the participants residing outside Japan. To pay by credit card, please send the application form by mailing or FAX to the secretariat of SAMJ (not that of ISAM), by 1 March 2013. The address and FAX number are noted in the form. Participants residing outside Japan may also make the payment in cash at the registration desk of ISAM2013 on arrival (payment by credit card is not acceptable). The discounted rate for registration and banquet applies, if the participant residing overseas finishes the on-line registration by the due date (31 Jan. 2013). Registration afterward would require them to pay the fees at regular (and higher) rate. Participants from inside Japan: If you understand Japanese language, please refer to Japanese page. Otherwise, please contact us by E-mail (mail to: agromet2013 ml.affrc.go.jp). All participants, irrespective of nationality, residing in Japan have to finish the payment by the due date to receive the discount in the payment.

| b. Manuscript submission is only for those who wish to publish the paper, which was presented at ISAM2013, in the Journal of Agricultural Meteorology (JAM). The manuscript shall be subjected to the peer review, and the accepted manuscripts will be published on JAM. The review process is the same as those for our regular papers on JAM, but is accelerated for earlier publication of the ISAM2013 papers. Preparation of the manuscript is here (pdf). No volumes of proceedings are planned for ISAM2013. |
